Salt Between Stones

石のあいだの塩

A mineral study of the Paracas coast, where salt, stone and fog redraw the same terrain each morning.

Pale salt traces cross weathered stone beside the Pacific coast.

Project notes

“The desert keeps a record in minerals instead of words.”

This travel essay follows the meeting point between coastal desert and ocean without treating either as a backdrop. Salt pans, limestone seams and fog become a living archive of tide and wind, photographed at a pace that lets surface and scale carry the narrative.
